Our physician, Nizar Charafeddine, M.D., is a board certified Gastroenterologist in Houston who has been caring for patients in Houston and the Bay Area for many years. Dr. Charafeddine specializes in the treatment of both upper and lower digestive diseases, including Liver Diseases (Hepatitis C), Colon Polyps, Crohn’s Disease, Pancreatitis, and Barrett’s Esophagus. Dr.Charafeddine is also trained in all endoscopic procedures: Upper Endoscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Video Capsule Endoscopy, and more.
